Hooray things are being done!
First I want to send you a big hug! Thank you for remembering my birthday!
It feels great to be an adult. Now I know even more that it is up to me how childish I want to be!
That night, when I turned 30, I woke up from the regular intimate noises from the couple in the flat above... She has such a loud voice, she should do something creative about it not always sing the same tune like she does at 5.30 in the weekend mornings, when her postman boyfriend´s natural clock wakes him up and then he always wakes her up and then... The concert begins! But he never makes any sound though! Only the whole wall is shaking :o)
Well this night I felt, I had had enough, now I am a grown up for real, and I don´t have to listen to this all the time, and I went up to their door and talked with a soft but firm voice, through the mailbox: " Can you please please keep it down! Please!" My neighbours could never be real indians, living a whole family in a tipi, caring about each other not only about themselves.
It felt really good that I stood up for myself! Like a proud indian :o) I´m not so used to that. I have to practice in small situations, like this, to listen to what I really need to feel comfortable, and then act by it.
I hope you also get great birthdays, I wish I knew when they are but I congratulate you in advance now :o)
Just some thoughts from me here in the studio, I am waiting for Christoffer who is at a cat-funeral. One of the five kittens, born a week ago, didn´t survive and now he is out with his family mourning.
Then we will keep working with the new songs, and tomorrow it is time to sing...!
Sorry for being so quiet!
I am sorry I´m so quiet, not writing anything at all here (almost)!
But in April most of the recording of next album, will be done, and then I promise to put some photos here
Now I´m going to Spain for a flamenco festival and my legs are like jelly- it´s so nervous and exciting!
Then I will go skiing, it was four years since last time..! I am looking forward to it incredibly much after 5 months of writing songs at home. And when I get back I have some weeks for writing another bunch of songs, that I hope will sound totally different from the others so far...A photo from the flamenco class might be nice?

Waiting for spring to come!
When all the fun of christmas and new year is gone, I can´t wait for spring to appear.
If i bring in a lot of light colours like pink, yellow and light green, it feels like spring at home, even though winter has just started here in Malmö! Some pink candles that I bought, might help? They remind me of cherry-blossom! I tried winter-bathing for the first time, my little sister even dipped her head several times, but her lips were all blue...! Luckily the sauna was on...! If the snow will fall again and stay on the ground this time, winter will be so much more useful! Long-distance skiing or skating.. I sure don´t hope all the seasons will even out now that the environment changes. Sure, winter here in the south of Sweden is mostly grey and wet, but it does help when it comes to appreciating the other seasons. I myself have started eating mostly vegetarian food, and only ecological or wild meat - it even tastes better. I have to believe that the small changes do matter!
Soon, very soon now, I will go to the studio and start recording the second soloalbum- out in the countryside- to meet spring when it comes ...

I have been recording so many demos now and I just can´t stop, I enjoy it so much-but now my throat is so tired that I have to make chrstmas food and candy, that is fun too :o)

Hello!!
Finally after 10 days of the flu I can feel the energy in me again!!
We are recording quickly with Sandy Mouche, for the first time we will record a whole album by ourselves!
Per Blomgren, our drummer, is the main producer and he is really eager and in one break he played the drums with his little new-born son´s feet...! Until he puked... :o)
Ola is building a house and always comes sweaty from there straight to the recording. Martinique, who is writing all the material, feels really pleased with the whole thing, so do I!
Mainly I am writing songs for a new solo album, and I have done half of the songs, I am going to write a lot this time so we have many songs to choose from.
While I am trying to enjoy this autumn as much as I can, it really is wonderful, the blue sky and the yellow leaves, wow!
I have quit my day job and even though I miss it a little bit I really feel happy about the fact that I can be focused on music and inspiration now, as much as possible!

What´s happening now?
The concert from last Friday is still sinking in (thanks Eric , for the language support :o), I have never experienced something like that before!
The audience was incredible and helped us be better than ever!
What happens now, is we go to Berlin in September to represent Sweden at the Pop Komm festival,
and my booker Johan at Blixten & Co tries to book 5-8 gigs around Sweden for this autumn!
And we will keep working towards releasing the album abroad, so far nothing has happened.

Home again!!
Now I am home again from the Per Gessle tour!
It has been a thrill, such an honor to sing to so many happy people from Sweden and all over the world :o)
And during the tour we have moved to Malmö, it feels good to be closer to the sea and a lot more concerts to go too!
I am charging myself for Friday, the show at Malmöfestivalen which will be with the full band.
And then we go to Berlin to play, and I think it will be wonderful !

New single: Where does the unused love go?
The song "Where does the unused love go?" is now being released to Swedish radio!!
It contains my flamenco-teacher Ewa Flycht´s dancing on the instrumental chorus! It sounds like a drum but it is her shoes.
Unfortunately there is no budget to make a video to this one.
